Students will examine the concept of one million.  Investigations will deal with measures of length, volume, and weight.

Mathematics:  Ratios and proportions, volume, weight, distance, and measurement.

Mathematics Thinking:  Students will make predictions about outcomes and estimate volumes and distances.

Technology:  Students will use the QX3 microscope from Intel as well as Internet resources.
