Regression equations are used to investigate world records from the world of track and field. Mathematics: Data, scatterplots, modeling, and regression equations Mathematics

data, using regression equations.
Students will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the model and
make predictions about future world records. Technology:

will use the TI-83Plus to analyze data.
This lesson assumes students are familiar with the statistical
