Lab safety in science classrooms is critically important and a topic teachers must constantly review with students. In this activity, students take digital pictures and create presentations regarding safe lab practices and the proper use of laboratory safety equipment. Rather than simply memorizing a list of rules, students take responsibility for knowing the content well enough to present it to other students. At the same time, students gain valuable technology experience in developing multimedia presentations.
