Ask your students to include a short quiz at the end of their slide show to check their classmate's safety smarts. This can be done in many ways. Quizzes can be in standard short answer/multiple choice questions, or a series of images can be presented in which the students must find the improper techniques and unsafe situations being presented. For more extensive assignments, two or three images demonstrating either safe or unsafe laboratory behaviors might be the focus of a short writing assignment.

Students could also be asked to evaluate the presentations and discuss how they might be improved. The most effective slides could be identified, and a single class slide show might then be produced which could be used as a comprehensive safety teaching tool for other grade levels.
