Designing a Storyboard

Storyboarding is a popular method that can facilitate creative thinking. In this case, the storyboard could be a rough outline identifying the key safety concepts to be illustrated and a list of the images and materials needed to illustrate these concepts.

The storyboard should be completed before you begin taking digital photos. Consider the following ideas:

  • What are the key safety concepts your group will illustrate?

  • How will you effectively communicate your safety message to your fellow students?

  • What images will you need to obtain?

  • What special equipment or materials will you need to use as props in your photos?
