            Read and discuss why Japanese-Americans were incarcerated in internment camps.

            Discuss the impact of First Amendment freedoms for Japanese-Americans.

            Discuss the long-term effects of camps on people.

            Students will write a journal entry as if they were a child in an internment camp.

            Discuss the goal of the Civil Liberties Act of 1988 and whether or not money can make up for losses suffered.
