Boyd Tinsly
By Sean H.

Boyd Tinsly was the violinist and the last member to join the  Dave Matthew’s Band. When the band had awesome success, Boyd was the least surprised with the success. “When I just heard of the band, I knew something was special about it” says Tinsly. Well, there's the basic outline of what he did. Next paragraph is more specific data or info about him.
Well, Boyd grew up in a musical family in Charlottesville, Virginia. Guess what (Now you must say “What!?, What Charlie?!” out loud, or you're not a valid reader for this document. Now if I were you, Id say what.) Boyd grew up in the same neighborhood as future Dave Matthew’s Band Member Carter Beauford, the drummer, and Leroi Moore, the saxophonist.
Boyd originally wanted to play the guitar, but wound up playing the violin on accident. Well, you might be wondering if he wet his pants and out came a violin or something. Well, actually he singed up for guitar in a classical orchestra. Then when he got in,  he just found out the guitar wasn't classical, and then his family hated him for five years. But anyway, once he found out the guitar wasn't classical, the orchestra gave them a violin and said “Aw, you can have it!” But Boyd was prefect at it! So for many years he played classical.
But when he was in high school, he helped found the Charlottesville-Albemarle Youth Orchestra which future Dave Matthew’s Band Member Stefan Lessard, the bassist joined years later.
But after that, Boyd switched from classical to Rock N’ Roll. Then in 1991, he was asked to play for the Dave Matthew’s Band. But first he had to play the song “Trippin’ Bullies.” So he did fine. But when he heard the other band members play, he thought the music was strong and powerful.
Now you might be wondering why I didn't write this on JoeBobFred or Psycho Path FredBobJoe (Well, obviously psycho paths aren't famous.). Well, there were some rules I had to follow some rules for (this is an elementary assignment). Well first the person must be a Virginian. So why didn't I do TJ? Well the person had to be living between 1980 and 2000. Also the person had to be on the internet. Okay Mr. Technical, why didn't I do a UVa or VA Tech athlete? Well, I like his type of music, and there's not much bands like his from Virginia. (and I find the Spice Girls totally inappropriate and beyond). And guess what? (If you read the other “Guess What?” thing, you do the same thing) He’s still alive! In case you're still wondering.
