Dawn Staley

Dawn Staley is the coach of Temple University.  Temple University is in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Dawn Staley plays for the U.S. Women's National Basketball team.  She was born on
May 4, 1970 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Dawn Staley  is from a family of five.  She was the first to graduate from college.  She lived in Charlottesville, Virginia while she attended the University  of Virginia (U.V.A.)  Charlottesville is in the Piedmont region of Virginia.  Dawn Staley is one of three Cavaliers to get her number (#24) retired. Her number was retired because she played excellent basketball while attending U.V.A. and still does play excellent basketball.  She was named the U.S. Women's basketball athletic of the year in 1994.  She captured the medal at the 1994 Goodwill Games and was named the tournament M.V.P. .
 Dawn Staley has made many contributions. Here are some of them; She contributed to U.V.A. t get them to the Final Four.  She contributed to the U.S. Women's National Dawn Staley
Basketball team by being on the team and of course for playing great basketball for them.  I feel she has contributed to everyone in the world by being an outstanding role model.
