Write a one page reaction to what you expected to uncover and why, what you found, and how this changes your picture of African American History in a local community in Virginia.
  2. Write an account which compares and contrasts African American resistance in Charlottesville, Virginia during the period from 1900-1925 with the period from 1933-1935. Offer some explanations for the differences.
