Procedures:
Students will choose a woman they thought was interesting and write a reflection paper on why they chose that individual.
Students will choose a state from the list on the site (www.wowmuseum.org/gallery/suffrage/index.html) and explain, orally or in writing, the contributions of that state to the women’s suffrage movement.
Students will create a poster convincing women to vote.
Students will choose a woman from the site (www.wowmuseum.org/gallery/dora/wamihs_index.html and create a mural or write a story about the person.
Students will interview people in their own community about women who have contributed to the community and write a summary about the woman or create a mural of the woman’s contribution.
Students will create a scale model of a sod house.
