Assessment: 

Students will be assessed in the following ways: 

1.                  Review students’ journal entries answering the question:  Why do you think the White House is an important symbol?

2.                  Review of Scavenger Hunt worksheet.

3.                  Discussion of the differences and similarities of the White House, today, and the White House in the past.

4.         Discussion about the Marine Band, and its music.
